Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am cycling 525km across Vietnam and Cambodia in February 2012. The trip is privately funded, so 100% of the money you donate will go to the charity.
I am not a natural cyclist. It's over 25 years since I used to cycle regularly and I am now 47 yrs old, volumptious! and struggling with this. My preferred exercise is walking, training for this is really hard and my back is protesting a lot. So why am I doing it?
Dad has Parkinson's and he and my lovely mum live with it every day and it's hard. They are both amazing. They stay as active as they can, although it's sometimes a struggle for dad to move freely,
I am doing this to raise awareness about Parkinson's, to support fabulous parents and their group in Rugby and anyone affected by Parkinson's.
Dad's local group is the Rugby branch of Parkinson's UK. They have supported him with various things including a brilliant Speech Therapy group.
