The Christie charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds. Your support can help us to fund life-changing and potentially life-saving projects that will benefit cancer patients both now and in the future.

Story

For anyone kind enough to take an interest in my cycle ride form John O'Groats to Lands end then here we are.

Full details are available on my blog:

http://chrislinesjogle.blogspot.co.uk/

First of all, anyone who knows me will know I don't really do social media, so this will be more of a pictoral guide, rather than tomes of writing about my daily pontification.

The route:

From North to South via the Sustrans East Coast/Midlands route. This gives the  advantage of finishing in Cornwall in early summer.  Being a Sustrans route, it uses mostly minor country roads and cycle tracks.

I will also pass through home midway.

Total mileage depends upon if I have time to extend the east section, but I reckon 1250-1300 miles in total for the trip.

Options

I could have made it easier, but as it is, going from North to South risks going against the prevailing winds

Accommodation is wild camping where possible, so I am carrying a lot of stuff with me!

Schedule

No itinery, no timetable or schedule, Set off on the two day train journey on 23rd May, pass by home on route and , finish by 24th June, if not before.

The Reason

I'll get back to you about that......
