Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Any sponsor money is greatly received... I know how difficult it is giving to charity as there are so many deserving causes around these days..

I cannot imagine how I would cope being blind myself.. so I have great admiration for those that are... to be born into a world of darkness is just too scary and upsetting to think about...

MACS Charity was first brought to my attention by a runner friend of mine who sadly passed away last year, so in some ways I would like to think that Mel Gordon is looking down and cheering me on...

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

We are MACS; supporting children born without eyes or with underdeveloped eyes. Every year in the UK, an estimated 114 children are born with a MACS condition. We provide practical and emotional support for the whole family, to help children reach their full potential and enjoy life.
