Kilimanjaro Trek in aid of Save the Children · 1 October 2011

Save the Children and Lloyds Banking Group are working together to raise £1 million to help the UK’s poorest children fulfil their potential.

Story

Children born into poverty frequently suffer from neglect, ill health and abuse, with significantly lower life expectancy and fewer life chances than average. Save the Children is working to alleviate the poverty trap for some of the UK’s most vulnerable children and give them a decent start in life.

In October of this year, I will be trekking up Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa to raise funds to support Save the Children’s work with some of the UK’s most vulnerable children.

Please share a little of my pain by donating whatever you can to help fund the valuable work provided by Save the Children. Many thanks
