Last year, whilst passing a book shop, I came across the extraordinary story of Magnus Macfarlane-Burrow's and 'The Shed that fed a million children.' This prompted me to do a school assembly, retelling the tale of Magnus' work and the evolution of Mary's Meals. This has since become our school charity for this academic year.
