Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Chris Buckland was a dear friend of ours. He fought prostate cancer for nine years with bravery, dignity and humour. He was one of the finest political and foreign journalists of his generation, who delighted in both pricking and challenging the pomposity of the mighty. He believed in his readers, the mission to hold the powerful to account and the public's right to know. He was a man who championed 'goodness' in the world and for whom Macmillan Cancer Support was an example of all he held dear.
He died, too young, aged 73 and we hope to raise £7,300 - at least!
