Story
Hi. So, as many of you know, i'm not the traditional 'running type'. I have a soft spot for anything unhealthy and can be seen suppin' many a beer on weekend. However, I've decided that this year i'm going to set myself a little challenge (and in the process maybe improve my health) - i'm running the 2017 GNR
I'm about a month into my training - gradually increasing my road running distances alongside some gym sessions. The goal is to be able to run the gateshead 10K as a good bit of prep before the big one - Great North Run 2017.
Macmillan is a charity that is close to my heart and i'm sure it is to many of you reading. Throughout the years I've known many people who have contracted some form of cancer. Some were lucky enough to come out the other end and others have not been so lucky.
When chosing a charity this was my first and only choice. Macmillan and the Macmillan nurses do a fantastic job.
Whatever you can give would be greatly appreciated. Share to as many people as you can and lets get this fat lad over the line!
