Shine in the fight against all cancers · 26 September 2015 ·

We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

So I'm gonna walk a half marathon through London (anyone that's seen me run will understand why I'm walking!) more importantly it's during one of the most important rugby World Cup games of 2015!

The main reason is to say thank you to Cancer Research UK for the fantastic work that they have done and continue to do towards finding new treatments for the different types of cancer.

It's sad to say that I, and I'm sure you know too many people that have had one form of cancer or another. There are sadly too many to name on here, and even though I am doing this for everyone, this time round in particular is in memory of my Grandma.

Please Help to beat all cancers.

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. This September, I’m raising money at Shine Night Walk to help Cancer Research UK fund its life-saving work.

Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years.

But we can’t stop there.

Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
