I am part of a field of 350 marines and former marines running up the rock of Gibraltar.  It is just shy of 3 miles but up hill all the way!  This is to mark the 350th anniversary of the Royal Marines and to raise important funds for the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund in support of the war wounded as well as the families of those men who paid the ultimate sacrifice.  Also, for me, a way of remembering and honouring a Royal Marine close friend of mine killed in a plane crash in 2011.  He was Orlando Rogers - 1985-2011 - an amazing young man who achieved so much in his short life.  His ethos of determination, loyalty, unselfishness and cheerfulness in the face of adversity epitomised the Royal Marine that he was.  The picture on my Just Giving page is of me filming Orlando in 2006
