See the cute photo of Superman and Batman...Felix is Superman and Herbie's Batman. They are twin brothers, but Felix has the cruel disorder, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy or DMD for short. 

Effects are horrendous - this serious condition causes progressive muscle weakness, generally by the age of 8 boys are struggling to walk and a wheelchair is eventually required. It is life shortening, most boys with this condition suffer from heart or respiratory failure, only living into their 20's.

As the godfather of Felix, I have a responsibility of looking out for him and helping out where I can through his life. After losing my brother Karl, Felix's dad, last year to cancer I'd like to help out. I will walk 100 miles along Hadrian's Wall in 4 days on 8-11th Sept and on the 18th  jump out of a plane from 10000ft.

With your generous support we can find a cure - Felix is 5 years old now, and so the race is on, more than ever.  Clinical trials are in progress, and with support, will be accelerated.

Awareness is growing due to the network of amazing people supporting this cause, but there's still more to be done.Team Felix, Joining Jack and Harrison's Fund have had a number of successful events. My Iron Man Dad was a recent documentary shown on Discovery Channel, detailing one Dad's efforts towards his son's plight with DMD. Additionally, Team Felix/Joining Jack with the 3 Peaks Challenge and Kiddie Climb.

Its a win, win, win situation... Felix has a better chance of dealing with DMD, you will have helped this happen and I will get fitter and lighter,  especially just after I've jumped out of the plane... look out for the missiles whoever is jumping tandem with me!!
