Story
It's time for Round 2!
Last year I took on the Thames Path 100km Challenge and was narrowly defeated at around 70km by feet that looked like 2 (very unappetising) raw steaks! BUT...with your help I surpassed my fundraising target and the lovely people at Cosmic UK were chuffed with my donation :).
This year I'm back in the game and will be raising money for Mind UK. I've suffered with mental health issues since the age of 14 and have seen first-hand the devastating effects poor mental health can have on your physical well-being, your friendships, relationships, family life, and professional ambitions.
I've been lucky enough to have had the support of my family and friends over the past 16 years, but sadly many people are not so fortunate and continue to grapple with debilitating conditions that are still very much stigmatised by mainstream society. Whilst I've taken part in a number of projects aimed at reversing this trend, without the tireless graft of charities like Mind UK, individuals like myself will continue to struggle in a world where poor mental health is still viewed as an issue that one can simply 'choose to ignore'.
Please donate as much as you can to our fight, and in return I'll put myself through 24 hours of physical torture for your amusement :).
Many thanks,
