Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

2015 saw me participate in many exciting endurance events from Ironman distance triathlon to English Channel Relay Swim, to name a couple...   Most of my friends were disappointed I wasn't taking the opportunity to raise funds for charity, truth is I did this successfully in 2010, and don't like to overask, or take advantage of my friends goodwill.  However, on many a friendly spoken word I have chosen two fundraising pots for this mega challenge in 2016.   I would be really grateful if you would chose the one closest to your heart, and I'll do my best to seal the deal by completing my Solo English Channel Swim this time next year (quite literally!!)

What makes one mad enough to want to attempt the Channel you might ask??? 

I'm not sure really, lots of things..... I allegedly told my dad whilst I was dozing as a child that one day I would (strange but true!), dad had already bought a book entitled "Its Cold in the Channel", years prior from the Lewis's ex library book sale, and finally because I believe I can..... 

A week until my sunshine break, return to swimming and a heavy strength and swim training schedule to contend with - every penny I raise will encourage me along my way.  There will be updates aplenty on good old facebook, so dig deep please and watch this space.....
