Christines charity hair chop!

Christine Calderon is raising money for Paws2Rescue

Christines charity hair chop! · 9 September 2020

We rescue dogs every day, who have been abused or abandoned, mainly in Romania, but also the UK and globally. We provide food, shelter and vet treatment for these dogs. Our neuter and education programmes focusing on changing the future generations and reducing stray populations across the world.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, I really appreciate it!

A charity very close to my heart is running a summer challenge. The idea of this is people are invited to do whatever they wish to raise as much money as possible! The money raised will go directly to their winter appeal, the winters in Romania are harsh and often unbearable for the dogs and rescuers. Even the dogs in the shelters are not safe from it, and the stray dogs suffer the most. The money is used to buy straw (to keep them warm), build little shelters for inside each kennel so the dogs have somewhere warm to protect themselves from the elements, food for the stray dogs and much much more!

After previously raising money for Paws2Rescue I knew I had to get involved with this challenge. Anybody who knows me knows I love my long hair, so when I asked friends for ideas on what I could do to fundraise... the most popular idea seemed to be to chop my hair (ALOT OF IT). So here we are.

I will be videoing my hair being cut and the video will be posted on my Facebook and made public so everybody can enjoy my pain lol. As you know on justgiving the money will go directly to the charity, I also made up sponsor forms which I will do outside of the Internet. I will post information on anything I raise via this too.

I would also appreciate even if you can't donate to please please check out Paws2Rescue Facebook page and see the unbelievable work they do. And if you could share this that would be amazing too.

I also want to add that my precious locks will be donated to the little princess trust which makes wigs for children suffering from hair loss, often due to cancer.

Thank you so so much for getting this far into my novel and viewing this page! Let's do this!!
