Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So in 2015 I vowed NEVER to run another marathon again! Then my lovely colleague Ingrid passed away and I suddenly felt I had to run again in her loving memory. 

Although I didn't know Ingrid very well, the time I spent working with her at Speak Out had a big impact on me.  She was an incredibly warm and caring individual who worked tirelessly to speak up for those who couldn't and to help those who struggled.  A lasting memory of her is coming into the office when she was obviously so ill, but spending 20 minutes on the phone with a service user who was in distress.  Her wonderful way of chatting to people and making them feel safe and valued was such an inspiration to me and to us all.
