In 2019 my father in law, Tim, was diagnosed with a very aggressive bowel cancer. Throughout his treatment and up to his death in 2020, the Maggie’s Centre at Nottingham City Hospital provided a much needed refuge. When I decided to run a half marathon this year it seemed only right that I should use it as a way to raise money for such a worthwhile and deeply personal cause. I would be so grateful if you could donate whatever  you feel able to spur me on in my last few weeks of training.
