Virtual London Marathon 2021 · 3 October 2021 ·
I'm very pleased to announce I will be running the London marathon 2021 on behalf of the guide dogs for the blind association.
The work they do is nothing short of amazing! The guide dogs provide blind people with independence and companionship, this is something that people take for granted everyday and to have this when you feel like it's been taken away from you is such and incredible feeling, if you get the opportunity to visit the guide dogs on an open day you can experience how these wonderful dogs help you through everyday scenarios.
I've grown up around Leamington spa and have lived in the area my whole life, during these years I have often seen guide dogs in training getting walked around Leamington as well as attending some of the open days at the Leamington branch. My family and I have long been supporters of the guide dogs, in fact my auntie and uncle used to raise guide dog puppies and I myself have raised money in the past for the guide dogs.
£60 could buy a harness, lead, collar and bell for a guide dog.
£30 could pay for a vital vet's appointment.
£20 could buy a training harness.
Thanks for visiting my page and thank you for your donation if penny helps, I hope to see you at a fundraising event in the near future.
ps I know it says Virtual London marathon but this was just a mistake in the events section.
