Story

Hello gorgeous reader!

I am swimming the serpentine on September the 25th to raise money for Stonewall- A charity that helps fight for LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) rights around the world...

Homophobia has hit the headlines this summer. June saw the horrific Orlando night club shooting in which 49 people were killed. Then last week, my ex -Thom Rees was asked to leave Sainsburys for 'touching his boyfriend inappropriately'. Not quite on the same level I know, but really tragic in its own way.

Unfortunately this last incident reflects the experience of so many LGBT people every day. But fear not, you can help make a change! For among other things, the money raised will help fund education about gay issues in schools to really nip this sort of behaviour in the bud.

I've been training since February to make this happen. Cake and swimming aren't a natural mix and I've had to work really hard at it- so please show your support and solidarity, even if it's just a couple of quid.

Thank you in advance! X

P.s -if you want to come watch me on the day and probably have leeches swinging off my nipples then I'm Green wave 12.30 kick off! It'd be great to see you! X
