Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am running the London Marathon in memory of my wonderful cousin/brother Matthew Ogilvie who lost his life to MS just over a year ago.. I think of him every day and really miss him, it is sad when anyone dies but when they are only 51 it makes it even sadder as you know they should really have had many more years to live. MS is a cruel disease where you just get progressively worse and at the moment there is no cure. Matthew was one of the kindest people you could meet and I really feel he did not deserve to die . I hope that through research and development one day there will be a cure for this dreadful disease and if I can raise some money in memory of Matthew it will go to finding a cure so others do not have to suffer in the way he did. This will be my third London Marathon and i am really looking forward to it as the crowd are fantastic the whole way round. I have other events this year Alloa half marathon, Glasgow to Edinburgh ultra marathon, Edinburgh Marathon, Edunburgh to North Berwick road race and the most crazy of all the West Highland Way which is 96 miles. However London Marathon is special to me as this is the event where I ask all my friends to help me raise money for a worthwhile cause. Many thanks for supporting me and I will let you know how I do.
