Story

As brother and sister we both grew up watching our Dad running multiple London Marathons. It's incredibly exciting for both of us to be following in his footsteps and running the London Marathon in 2017. This will be Claire's first ever marathon (eek!) and Chris's second - both of us are hoping to complete it in under 4 and a half hours.

We chose to fundraise for the The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital (RJAH) in Oswestry because of the world-leading treatment and research they do. Claire's mum had hip replacement surgery at RJAH in October 2016 and received incredible treatment and care so it's a cause particularly close to both of our hearts.

About the charity

The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Charity raises funds to support patients and its staff to ensure we achieve our ambition to deliver world class patient care. It achieves this through fundraising and supporting others to fundraise on our behalf.
