NICHS is leading the fight against chest, heart and stroke illnesses in NI. We provide support for people affected, and work to prevent these illnesses by delivering health checks and health promotion programmes, funding research and campaigning for improved care, treatment and awareness.

Story

I am raising money for Northern Ireland Chest, Heart and Stroke in memory of my amazing mummy, Moya McVeigh.

As many know, on the 25th July 2019, our lives changed forever when we lost our beautiful Mum. An unexpected and sudden loss that none of us were prepared for. She was the kindest, most caring, and inspiring woman I’ve ever known. She truly impacted the lives of so many & was deemed a ‘Netball Mummy’ to everyone.

Her presence is missed so much and by so many from our home in Belfast and across the world. She truly was a force to be reckoned with! Her 40+ years legacy lives on through her netball club ‘Westside’ with an amazing bunch of ladies still keeping it going. Life is certainly a lot dimmer without her here, we all miss her so much ❤️

This April 2023, I’ll be running the Belfast City Marathon in her memory & all donations will go towards the amazing charity of NI Chest, Heart & Stroke to help raise awareness and help those who have lost someone from similar circumstances. A phenomenal charity who helped us so much & will hopefully help others alike.

All donations, no matter how small or big are welcome.

Thank you for the support! This one’s for you Mama🤍

Thank you all x
