Running for Rhys

Great South Run 2017 · 22 October 2017 ·
My friend's son Rhys has Congenital Myotonic Dystrophy, a condition
you've probably never heard of. It's a genetic condition that comes under the umbrella of Muscular Dystrophy. I'm raising money specifically for the CMMD Fight Fund which is money that Muscular Dystrophy UK ring fence for research into Rhys's condition. Rhys's mum came up with the idea of doing the Great South Run when we were at a Christmas party and when we'd sobered up we still thought it was a good idea! Seven of us who've never done anything like this before will be Running for Rhys on 22nd October 2017. Please help us raise lots of money for Rhys and others like him - thank you x
