Stafford Half Marathon 2014 · 16 March 2014 ·

There are 14.7million people – that’s more than one in six – in the UK living with a neurological condition. Here at the country's leading neurological centre, we’re passionate about supporting the hospital to help improve the lives of patients through treatment and research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I started running just a couple of years ago and a 5km run was a challenge. However, after training and support from my partner I have decided to up the pressure this year and take on a half marathon. I wanted to do it for a worth while charity and that's why I have chosen The National Brain Appeal. They provide neurological care to those in need and also undertake a lot of research into various disease such as dementia.

Last year a dear neighbour passed away after suffering a stroke and various knock on effects from the stroke. I hope that I can raise some money to help the The National Brain Appeal in their research to be able to find new treatments for the various neurological disorders that affect so many people.

So please dig deep and please sponsor me.
