I am running this years Great north Run in aid of St Oswald's Childrens Hospice. A Hospice that offers care & Support to a fantastic young man who is very special to everyone that know's him and meets him.

A very close family friend, Dan has a condition called Hunters Syndrome. Hunter syndrome or mucopolysaccharidosis ll (MPS ll) is a serious genetic disorder that primarily effects males. Hunter syndrome is one of several related lysosomal storage diseases. It interferes with the body's ability to break down and recycle specific mucopolysaccharides (mew-ko-pol-ee-sak-ah-rides).
