We foster and fund research to improve lives for people with nystagmus.

Story

On Sunday 23 September 2018 I will be abseiling in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from the Orbit viewing platform at 262 feet (80 metres) to raise funds for pioneering nystagmus research at Moorfields Eye Hospital and University College London.

Nystagmus affects around 1 in 1000 people and is the most common form of serious visual impairment among children. It causes involuntary eye movement and poor vision. There is currently no cure and few people with the condition can drive.

I am privileged to be a trustee of Nystagmus Network, a small but amazing charity offering support to people with the condition and funding much needed research. Our video "Nystagmus: the way we see it" explains what it's like living with the condition.
