Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year (well actually the next 4 months!), my quest is to complete The London Marathon and 3 half marathons along the way and raise as much money as possible to support the charity Children with Leukaemia who are the UK's leading charity dedicated to fighting Britain's biggest childhood cancer.

Through previous work, I have seen the devastating effects that this disease causes to not only the children in question, but their families as well. Children with Leukaemia works tirelessly to provide support for UK hospitals who need welfare funding for families and funding for research projects that slowly but surely raise the cure rate of this dreadful disease. 

So - what's the challenge........

Challenge 1 : 

 The Brass Monkey Half Marathon (York) - 23rd Jan 2011. So called due to the fact it's one of the coldest halves of the year! Thank you to my lovely Northern running partner, Jane Clegg for dragging me into this one!

Challenge 2:

The Berkhamsted Half Marathon - 6th March 2011. Known for it's killer hills!! Accompanied by the usual suspects (you know you promised on New Years Eve!!)........

Challenge 3:

The Reading Half Marathon - 20th Marathon 2011. The fast half before the biggie!!! Running with the Berko Mums and Dads followed by a slap up meal at the Fat Duck! 

Challenge 4:

17th April 2011.....The Big One....all 26.2 miles. At the moment all on my own.........anyone fancy running with me???

I'm sure you will all hear me moaning and see me hobbling over the coming few weeks........if you see me running around Berko, pip your horn (but no comment on the running tights please!).
