Story
Hi everyone, on the 19th of march 2023 I will be taking part in a 15000ft tandem skydive for the Clatterbridge cancer charity, which is a charity which has helped millions of families, including my own.
The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity is the only dedicated charity for patients and research at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre. The Centre makes over 220,000 patient contacts to over 30,000 patients a year, offering pioneering chemotherapy, radiotherapy and proton therapy treatments from eighteen operating sites across Merseyside and Cheshire. By choosing to support this charity, you will help to improve patient experience, fund vital research, the latest therapies and innovations in cancer treatment.
In 2014 Clatterbridge helped my family first hand, as my mum was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She went through Chemotherapy, radiotherapy and a mastectomy at the Clatterbridge cancer Centre, and she went into remission for just over year. Unfortunately, in 2016 she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer again, and had to go through all the treatment again. Thankfully, my mum is now cancer free today, 5 years later, with the incredible support and treatment from Clatterbridge. My mum is an incredible and strong woman, she is my inspiration, and I am so thankful to have her here today. Nobody deserves to go through this, and hopefully with your help one day we will beat cancer for good.
Thankyou so much for reading, any donation no matter how small will help.
