Story
As anyone who has ever met 10 year old Megan, her long, blonde locks have always been her crowning glory. She’s refused to even have it trimmed over the last few years!
However, she recently bagged herself a small role on the next Downton Abbey movie, alongside her triplet brothers Oliver and Zac, who share the role of George. One condition of this role would be that she would need a haircut in keeping with the time period of the film.
Megan jumped at the chance and immediately said that she wanted to donate her hair to help children with cancer who may need a wig.
In the grounds of the magnificent Highclere Castle in Berkshire, the Downton Abbey hair team set to work transforming Megan. A whopping 45cm of her hair was cut and sent off to the Little Princess Trust. In addition to this, Megan would like to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity; so please donate what you can!
The Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions to restore their confidence and identity. When a child loses their hair to cancer, they’ll be there with a free, real hair wig, which can cost the charity from £550 to provide a wig free-of-charge. They won't stop until the research that they
fund ends childhood cancer forever. Please visit www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help influence the outcomes of childhood cancers.
