We offer support, advice and information to UK families affected by retinoblastoma

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 8th May a group of friends will attempt to bike ride from Leeds to Chesterfield to raise money for CHECT. A charity that will help a local little girl who was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma (a rare form of eye cancer) on the 5th November 2021 aged just 5 months old. Despite everything she has gone through Maggie keeps on smiling and is an absolute trooper. Maggie and her family including Oscar her 3 year old brother  have been through so much and we’d just like to help in anyway we can towards her ongoing care and for others that are sadly diagnosed with Retinoblastoma.

The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT) is the only UK charity solely dedicated to helping families and individuals affected by retinoblastoma, a rare form of eye cancer. We provide support, raise awareness and fund research into prevention and treatment.
