Story
As a nurse 👩⚕️ there will some patients that we will remember forever. For me 💕Millie💕 is one of those patients.
Millie 💕was diagnosed with bowel cancer in December 2020 and sadly passed away peacefully in her mums arms in October 2021 after ringing the bell 🔔 in July 2021🌈 at the hospital where I work. I was very privileged to witness Millie 💕 ringing the bell 🔔 as it was a very special and emotional moment. 💙💚💛🧡❤️
Millie 💕was totally inspiring in her attitude to her illness, we laughed so much together, we cried (I cried some more!) I loved 🥰 looking after Millie and would just like to say thank you ☺️ to the amazing 🤩 staff at Marie Curie for all they do for their patients and families that need them most at their most vulnerable time of their lives.
I am hoping also that this will raise awareness of bowel cancer and for there to be an understanding that this does not just happen to older people .
Anyone who knows me knows I don’t have the same hair colour or style for more than 5 mins so what better way to try out a new hairstyle 💇♀️ than with Millie 💕as my inspiration and hopefully raise some money 💰 for Marie Curie 🌼 at the same time. If you can donate even £1 every little will help🌼🌼🌼
Thank you so much ☺️
Thank you for reading my post 💕
