Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

At 11.30am on Tuesday 20th  December, 4 weeks since mental health campaigner and my once friend, Sarah, 39, tragically took her own life in Folkestone; I'm going to shave my head for the first time in my life (I'm 45 and truly terrified!) to raise funds and awareness for the amazing charity NAPAC (the National Association for People Abused in Childhood).

Why? Because they are currently inundated with calls but don't have the funds to answer all of them or open their helpline after 9pm or at weekends. People who are abused in childhood can experience post traumatic stress throughout their adult life - with professional support from NAPAC they can learn how to heal and recover. Please donate however little, however big - every last pound will make a real difference to people's lives!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
