MDS UK is the only charity in the UK providing vital support, information and advice, and conducting research solely into Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) - a rare blood cancer where the bone marrow fails to produce healthy blood cells. 

Following my diagnosis of MDS in 2009, two years passed before I became aware of the existence of MDS UK and finally met others facing the same issues as me in their day-to-day lives.
