Cliff Stewart is raising money for Cardiac Risk in the Young
In memory of Natalie Stewart
Donations cannot currently be made to this page
Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our daughter Natalie died suddenly and unexpectedly in her sleep on 22nd October. Her death has been attributed to young sudden cardiac death (YSCD), sometimes known as sudden adult death syndrome.

We welcome donations as part of celebrating Natalie's life.

Nothing can take away the shock and devastation when someone so full of energy and life and enjoying life so much is suddenly no longer with us. But what we want to recognise is just how much living Natalie packed into her thirty four years of life, and to raise money for CRY, the charity that aims to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death and to support those affected.

Alexander Solzhenitsyn, that great Russian author, once remarked:

Some people are bound to die young.

By dying young a person stays young forever in people’s memory.

If she burns brightly before she dies her light shines for all time.

Adapted from words by Alexander Solzhenitsyn

and Natalie certainly lived her life in technicolour.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
