This is a charity very close to the heart of our pub and our community. We sadly lost our pub owner to this cruel disease in 2025 and we all miss him very much.

It has affected the families of both staff and customers and we would love to be able to give back and hopefully raise more money into future research to stop other families having to go through what we all have.

We successfully did the memory walk in 2025 and we loved it so much that we have signed up again to this years! We raised over a £1000 in 2025 and would love to raise the same if not more! Every single donation even just a £1 honestly means everything to us all here at the tap.

Dementia is the UKs biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and currently there is no cure. We know it is scary but we must confront the biggest health & social care challenge of our time.
