Dear friends,

I'm asking all my customers family and friends to sponsor me  £2 to run the Leeds 10k with the money going towards Rainbow Junk-tion (Hyde Parks local food bank) which is located at All Hallows Church about five minutes walk  from my shop.

Ever since I started the shop in 2017 I've wanted it to serve the  'whole community' not just those who can afford a posh coffee.

With your help we've been raising money for Rainbow Junk-tion food bank from the start. Our "Pay one forward" scheme which we began during lockdown has provided regular and consistent income each month at a time when its services were desperately needed. We've raised over £3000 so far.

Many of our customers volunteer their time at Rainbow Junk-tion and with the cost of living crisis the demands on their life saving work are now greater than ever. I wanted to do something to help now.

I'm aiming to get 500 seperate donations of a £2 over the next 5 days.

The race route loops around Woodhouse Moor and right infant of the shop. ( I can't wait for that bit)  Its also a really special race as I have close ties to The Jane Tomlinson run for all organisation. Janes daughter Becky being my old flat mate. One of the photos in this gallery is of her helping me paint the front of the shop before the shop had even opened in 2017.

The race is going to run straight outside the shop so if you'd like to cheer me on you'll have the best seat in the house. I literally can't wait.
