Memory Walk
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
This year over 110,000 people walk united, against dementia. We aim, with your help to raise over £9 million to help anyone affected by dementia.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Myself and Cherlene are walking to raise awareness of dementia. This illness is very close to our hearts as we both have family members that this illness has affected.

Dementia is an illness that not only takes away the sufferers dignity but also their memories.

It is also an illness that takes a huge toll on the family of the sufferers and the people who care for them.

It is an illness that people never truly understand until it affects someone that you love.

It is also an illness that needs more awareness.

The money we raise will help to fund research into finding a cure for dementia. It will also help to support families all over the UK in regards to caring for people with dementia, supporting families and providing much needed advice.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
