In a wintry January, Delia convinced us that entering the Great North Run would be a good idea! This was certainly a challenge as none of us are seasoned runners! We decided to raise money for CHSS as we all felt a personal connection with the charity. This was solidified when our friend and former colleague suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. Thanks to prompt action from his friends he thankfully survived. We hope to raise money for this great charity, and also to help promote basic first aid along the way, so that more people could help a person in need.
