Great South Run 2016 · 23 October 2016 ·

We are Solent Mind, Hampshire's leading mental health charity. We provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We campaign to improve services and raise awareness. We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.

Story

Colin, Deborah, Debby and Pete are competing in the Great South Run this year, to raise funds for Solent Mind's Floating Support Project Hardship Fund. The Fund helps people who are experiencing mental health distress and are in a financial crisis. It helps people to buy food, travel to job interviews and appointments, buy nappies, pay electric bills and lots more.

Deborah and Colin will be running in the 10 mile race and Debby and Pete in the 5km race. Debby will be participating in a wheelchair for part of the race.

Any donations will be gratefully received. Thank you.
