We seek to create warmer communities to assist with the relief of fuel poverty

This November I will be walking the West Highland Way, in Scotland, in support of the Sureserve Foundation.

The West Highland Way stretches 96 miles (154 Km) from Milngavie to Fort William, taking in a huge variety of scenery along the way, from countryside parks to loch-shores and open moorlands to steep mountains.

I plan to walk the route in 5 days and am aiming to raise £500

About the charity

Our Foundation supports individuals, families and communities achieve fuel efficiency and in turn, lessen the financial burden of high gas and electric bills. The Foundation’s focus on fuel poverty is a timely reflection of the struggles many families and individuals are experiencing in the current economical climate. The work that lies ahead of the Foundation will make a real difference to the people that need help, and are not in a position to help themselves. It is that simple idea that inspired its creation in the first place; the countless examples all around us of the compassion and generosity of those individuals that are in a position to help.
