I'm taking on the Etape Loch Ness for Maggie's Aberdeen!

I was diagnosed with a haematological cancer 9 years ago and given the all clear in May 2008. After being in remission for 6 years the cancer came back and this is when I found Maggie's.

Maggie's offers free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends. It is a warm and welcoming place to gather and process the information, advice and support that people so desperately need; a place to find practical advice about benefits and eating well; a place where qualified experts provide emotional support; a place to meet other people who have had or are having an experience of cancer, or simply sit with a cup of tea. In short, Maggie's is a place where people can access the support they need to take back control of their lives and play and active role in their treatment.
