London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·

BBS is the only national sports disability charity in the UK that specifically supports people with sight loss to take part in sport and recreational activities, ensuring that people with sight loss have the same opportunities as sighted people to experience the power of sport in their lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So I heard Mo Farah was running the London Marathon next year and thought I would like to give him a little race. 26.2 miles can't be too hard, can it??

No really, I chose to do the London Marathon for British Blind Sport because although I have no understanding of the challenges that
people with sight loss face, From being completely deaf in my left ear I have a small understanding of some of the challenges sensory impairment can have on participating in sport. Therefore it is important to me to help give other people the opportunities and rewards I have had from taking part in sport. I am excited about the challenge of running the London Marathon for such a great charity.
