Gower Peninsula Mighty Hike 2025 - full marathon · 5 July 2025 ·

Set yourself an exciting new challenge and hike a full or half marathon around the beautiful Gower Peninsula to raise vital funds for people living with cancer.

Story

In July 2025, I have challenged myself to take on the Gower Peninsula Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.

We all know someone who is or has been affected by cancer; friends , family or yourselves. My brother in law Paul is one of those whose life has been affected by this cruel disease. He has been battling with it for 7 years, numerous treatments, surgeries, hospitals, challenges but has fought every inch of the way with the support of my sister, my two nephews and the whole Morgan/Looker familam. Two years ago he was told it was terminal and has been in and out of hospital and the hospice since , but he never ceases to amaze us with his tenacity and sheer stubbornness to give in. So for the legend Lord Morgan, uncle K***head, this is for you x

I'd be so grateful if you could help me reach my £250 pledge, which can pay for Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.

Since setting this page up , Paul sadly passed away on April 11th, no one fought harder than Paul, and he got to renew his wedding vows with my sister surrounded by family and friends .

We are all the more determined to make him proud by walking the walk and raising as much money as we can

Thank you!
