Story

Hi Guys - thanks for visiting my page.

On the 11th June a few guys from work and I will be cycling the Deloitte Ride Across Britain from John O'Groats to Lands End. This is an epic journey that will take us 9 days and involves a 1,000 miles of agony. It will effectively mean we are sat in the saddle for 6-7 hours a day to raise money for the official charity Paralympics GB.

To give you an idea of the enormity of the challenge, it's the equivalent of cycling the London - Brighton route and back again for 9 consecutive days. Training for this currently involves 3-4 hour rides on a Sat and Sun along with mid week sessions. This will gradually increase over the coming months until I'm comfortable with 100 mile rides on consecutive days.

I also want to emphasis that the £1,500 entry fee has been paid for by my company and ALL the money raised goes directly to the charity. Paralympics GB is a great charity raising money to prepare our athletes for London 2012 so you will be able to see the direct results from your generosity.

Thanks for all your generosity and support.

Much Love

Nick
