I have been a long term supporter of BYHP and the amazing work they do to support vulnerable young people within our local community. Since planning this expedition I have now joined BYHP as a member of staff, but my commitment to ensure that their essential services are able to keep running is unchanged.

While my role is fully funded, many of BYHP's other services rely on every penny that comes in from donations large and small. I get to see now more than ever the impact that this organisation is having on people through it's counselling, family mediation, housing advice, and food bank services, and other provisions offered to young people.

I will be flying out to Nepal on the 3rd of November, and upon arriving in Lukla will be mountain trekking for 15 days. The aim is to reach Everest Base Camp at 17,600 ft, raise valuable funds for the charity, and have an experience that I can share with the young people accessing our organisation to inspire them.
