Homemade with Mess does #CookforSyria

#CookforSyria · 3 June 2017
Right now, millions of children are in danger. They face violence, disease, hunger and the chaos of war. The ongoing conflict in Syria has caused the largest humanitarian crisis since World War II, with the lives of more than 8 million children in danger. Many have lost family, friends and schools and have been forced to flee their homes. 50% of all Syrian refugees are children and boys as young as 7 are being recruited to fight. The risk of losing a generation grows with every day
that the current situation deteriorates.
Unicef ensures more children get life-saving food, vaccinations, education and protection than anyone else. In 2015, Unicef responded to 310 emergencies in 102 countries but there is still so much more to be done.
#CookForSyria is a nation-wide fundraising initiative focused around Syrian cuisine and encouraging everyone, from the UK’s top chefs to people at home, to cook and raise money in aid of UNICEF’s Syria Relief fund.
Those of you that know me will know how much I love to cook and entertain friends and family (I’m one of those feeder people!!), and so all I ask is that if you enjoy a meal at my house, have cooked one of my recipes and loved it or just want to donate to a great course then please please donate what ever you can to my fundraiser for Unicef UK.
With your help, we can build a safer world for children.
