Berlin Marathon - Team Autism 2022 · 25 September 2022 ·

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Hello Guys,

I will be running the Berlin Marathon on September 25th which will be my second marathon. I completed my first marathon in Blackpool earlier this year and I take my hat off to anyone who has completed one as it is tough going!!!

I have decided I want to raise some money for the National Autistic Society. Our son Max was recently diagnosed with Autism in June this year. Anyone who knows Max will know he is the most loving caring wee boy who loves kisses and cuddles. The older he is getting the more frustrated he is becoming as he can’t communicate with you to tell you what is up with him or how he is feeling. Anyone who has a child with autism knows how challenging it is but we wouldn’t change it for the world.

The National Autistic Society Since 1962, have been providing support, guidance and advice, as well as campaigning for improved rights, services and opportunities to help create a society that works for autistic people.

If you can spare any change at all it would be greatly appreciated!!

One last long training run to go and then it’s game time!!

Thanks
Craig
