We support people living with sight loss to improve their confidence & independence.

Just a couple of days  to go until London Marathon.

It is a privilege for me to have the opportunity to run the London marathon on behalf of Galloways society for the blind. They are an amazing local charity, who do brilliant work with the local community, encouraging and enabling people with sight loss to realize their hopes and dreams and fulfill their potential as an individual and a member of their own community.

It has been 6 years since I last challenged myself to run a marathon and I can definitely tell that my fitness levels have dropped a long way, so I am expecting this year to be my biggest running challenge.

Any donation that you can give will help with the great work that Galloways do in the North West, be that providing support, advice and training, or enabling people with sight loss to participate in a driving experience or go on a hike.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Many thanks for your support
