Story
This justgiving site has been opened to raise funds for St Barnabas Hospice.
Special Constable Pete Jones (ex RAF) lost his battle with Cancer in April 2009 and a cycle ride of 200 miles will be in memory of Pete and to raise much needed funds for St Barnabas.
Petes wife requests that any money raised would be donated to St Barnabas due to their care and support they gave to Pete and his family.
Police Officers from Lincolnshire,Sean McCabe, Stu Adams, Sean Baxter, Jason Dakin and Paul Wade aim to ride the 200 Miles in one day passing through most of Lincolnshire Police Stations.
They will assisted with a backup vehicle and support by Petes father-in-law George Smedley, PCSO Colin Ironmonger, DC Lorraine Speight, PC Emma Coulten and Susan McCabe(RAF).
PC Matt Breathwick will also join us and ride the route from Boston to Skegness, he,s hoping for a strong backwind :-)
On the last mile of the ride Petes two young daughters will join us on their bikes and complete the ride with us finishing at Sleaford Police Station.
Please help St Barnabas hospice, they have no Government funding and rely on the goodwill of people like you, please give them your support. Any donation is greatfully accepted.
