Could you power through the miles to help us beat dementia sooner? We're challenging you to take on between 100 and 500 miles in 30 days.

Story

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

As you many of you may know in 2017 I completed the bike ride to Skegness if I am completely honest I have not really done a lot on my bike since 🙊. I saw this amazing charity was offering this opportunity and I thought it was the perfect chance to get my butt off the settee and get back out there. The Alzheimers society is such a close charity to mine and Jo's heart and sadly we both know relatives that have suffered or are suffering with this cruel disease. With the current circumstances with the Covid-19 this is hard enough for us to get our heads round let alone for someone who is suffering with dementia. This amazing charity has recently recruited volunteers and is currently training them so they can call dementia suffers on a regular basis to see how they are coping and if they require any assistance. Please may I ask if you could get behind me and the alzheimers society by making a donation no matter how big or small it will be gratefully received.
