DCH chose Shelter as our charity of the year 2016/17. Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness through advice, support and legal services. They are there so no one has to fight housing struggles or homelessness on their own. 

Twelve brave and daredevil DCH volunteers want to raise as much money as they can to help Shelter and support their work. So, they've decided that it would be a good idea to launch themselves out of a plane from 15,000 ft in order to do this!! On 16 September at 12 noon Laura Memmott, Laura Tayor, Clare Bromley, Caroline Blockley, Greg Caley, Gary Holden, Keely Lynn, Ayshea Jenkings, Andrew Eascott, Tilly De-Bargeton, Alex Deller and Jon McLeavy are taking to the skies at Dunkeswell airport. Once at altitude and they get the green light to 'GO!' they will exit the aircraft (probably with a gentle push!) experiencing speeds of 120mph for up to a full minute, freefalling up to 2 miles. Once the parachute deploys they will gracefully glide back to land from the ride of their life!

You may think these guys are brave or just downright crazy but we hope you will agree that they deserve to be supported in their daredevil antics! So please give generously and help them raise the £5000 they need for this event.
