Dina's Volunteering Expedition to Nicaragua

Nicaragua Expedition · 1 October 2016
This October, I will be participating in the Raleigh International Volunteer Expedition to Nicaragua in partnership with Google. I am trying raise more than 1,700 GBP towards Raleigh's work (equivalent to 2,300 euros) by August 1st. THE PROJECT: I will be joining 13 other Googlers to undertake a 16 day project in Nicaragua. This project responds to the problem of lack of support for youth entrepreneurship skills and development in rural communities of the Madriz region of northern Nicaragua. The GOAL: We will be focusing on the development of skills that correspond to labour market needs and the building of entrepreneurial capacity to stimulate growth in the community. THE ORGANIZATION: Raleigh International is a sustainable development charity who harnesses the passion and energy of young people to effect positive change in sustainable developments. Their programs focus on providing access to safe water and sanitation, protecting vulnerable environments and building resilient communities.
HOW CAN YOU HELP? We are trying to raise more than 2,300 euro towards the project before August 1st. Thanks for your support on empowering young entrepreneurs to achieve economic growth in the community!
